American Press - The American Press' earliest roots can be traced back to 1983. The Lake Charles-based newspaper now covers five parishes - Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jeff Davis.
Cameron Communications - opened the lines of communication in 1928 by stringing telephone lines into the marshes of Cameron Parish. The launch of Cameron Telephone Company was intended to serve the booming oil industry in Cameron Parish. Cameron Communications continues to serve residents, businesses and shools of Cameron Parish.
Cameron Pilot - The first issue of the Cameron Pilot was published in 1956, by owners Jerry and Joy Wise. The Cameron Pilot serves Cameron Parish and continues to be published every Thursday.
KPLC TV - began broadcasting in the summer of 1954. Owner. It is consistently one of the nation's most innovative and most-watched television stations, ranking among the top 5 Nielsen-rated stations nationally throughout the year.
